This catastrophy has been allowed to go on for far too long. Some countries such as Borneo and Malaysia have been sacrificing nature for money. Orang Utans for example are being killed off as their habitat is cleared to make way for palm tree plantations. Endangered animals other than the Orang Utans are also being killed off just for the sake palm oil.

Refreshing Your Chopping Boards!

Our chopping boards can be home to many harmful bugs such as E.coli, Salmonella and staphylococcus . A simple and effective way to ward off any bouts of rushed and frantic trips to the loo, all you need is to give your chopping boards a good clean with undiluted white vinegar after each use.

Never use water or dishwashing liquid as these weaken the wood fibres allowing for trapped smells and make a great home for nasty little so and sos!

The humble potato has been staple food for many cultures and the basis of some very strong alcoholic spirits as well. But there is more to the potato than meets the eye. Here are a couple of ways we can use the 'Mighty' potato:
